Porsche 911 GT2 RS will be manufactured in a small volume of 500 units only for the European and US markets. For the Indian roads, it would be imported only on the basis of prior bookings. The company is however keeping tight lipped on this front and not declaring anything officially.
In India Porsche currently sells models like Panamera in collaboration with its official importer and dealer – Precision Cars India Limited. The model was however recalled due to the problem of potentially faulty seat belts. Officially the company has asked all its Porsche owners in India to contact their nearest service centres for adding the additional safety feature in 2010 models at no additional costs.
