Bonhams, the third largest auction house will auction off a British motor that is claimed as one of the world's oldest motorcycle Hildebrand & Wolfmüller. Motors that have corroded this 115-year-old. This old motorcycle is one of only 800 pieces produced worldwide. The motorbikes are made in the city of Munich, 1895 ago as part of the motorcycle and the first generation of this object is the first vehicle to apply the name of "motorcycle" or "Motorrad" in German.
This motor has a four-stroke engine, with a capacity of 1488 cc, twin cylinder, water-cooled to produce 2.5 horsepower at 240 rpm and can reach a top speed of 30 mph. They also gave a license to a French company to produce motorcycles with the brand "La Petrolette". Unfortunately in early 1897, the manufacturer of this collapse, both in Germany and in France.
