The collectors were given the opportunity of 10 days (starting July 15) to bid for Germany's automobile production. Offer is opened from the lowest initial 22,000 pounds (about USD 300 million). How expensive? What's so special?

The owner will eventually get the recognition that the hatchback was never driven the couple. Auction winners will also grab a parking ticket in 2007, then proof of ownership with the name of her before having her title today, and a pair of silver cufflinks are decorated with Scottish flags.

VW Golf was registered in the name of Kate on November 27, 2001, several months after she met Prince Williams, but before accepting a declaration of love in St Andrews.

Owner of the car when it is, Sonny Brazil, who lived near her house in Bucklebury
