Lotus will Develop New Engine seriously

RECENT these, Lotus car manufacturer announced plans to develop six-and eight-cylinder engine new. According to Autocar, Lotus CEO Dani Bahar said that the postponement of the launch of the Lotus Elan's decision allows the company to fund development of new machinery.

While rumors circulating indicate that the prototype V8 engine will be finished next month and the machine is capable of producing power of 550 to 570 hp.

As is known, some Lotus concept shown at Paris Motor Show brings engine manufactured by Toyota. Lotus has studied a variety of responses that emerged on the internet related to it.

According to Lotus, Internet survey indicates that it must develop its own engine. In addition, the survey shows they're doing well mixed reactions to the Lotus Eterne four doors.
Lotus itself was quite surprised, but it will continue development of the model because the vehicle was taken from the base of an existing Lotus Elite, so it will not cost too much.
