AFTER the success of Mercedes-Benz vehicles was driven by fuel-cell power, the F-Cell World Drive around the world, Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche announced plans to launch the FCV (fuel-cell vehicle) in bulk in 2014.

This means that Mercedes-Benz will advance the schedule of the launch vehicle one year sooner than previously scheduled plans in 2015. Zetsche said that technically, this car is the product ready for market.
"We've proved it by sending three fuel cell vehicles around the world without significant problems," he said. Without exposing the details, Zetsche hinted that the vehicle later production version will have a cruising as far as 402 km.
