Toyota 'Q' World, a unique event organized by Toyota Motors to promote its brand in India, reached at Coimbatore on Monday. The event was organized at Anaamalais Toyota, 300 Mettupalaya Road in Coimbatore, where the company showcased its range of portfolio models including a concept version of upcoming Toyota Etios, Prius hybrid car, Prado diesel, SUV Fortuner. A large number of automobile enthusiasts participated in the event to take the first look at company's much awaited Etios model.
The Toyota ‘Q’ World has been a very successful event for the company so far, as it has received an overwhelming response from the car enthusiasts in every city where the event was organized. The first phase of the event is over and now the event will travel to 15 more cities of India including Goa, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Siliguri, Guwahati, Varanasi, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Indore, Surat and Calicut.
Company would like to engage car enthusiasts and customers from across India and not limit this experience to just one city. This is an opportunity for us to get a direct feedback from customers across the country, which will in turn help the company to further improve its products and services and serve customers better. Goa is a very important market for Toyota and it look forward to expanding it further in the future. With the introduction of Etios concept, the company hopes to attain a sizable market share in India in the shortest possible time, Sailesh Shetty, general manager, Sales, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said on the occasion.
The Toyota Etios, which was the center of the attraction at the event, will be launched in India in December this year in the compact-car segment. Through this 'Q' Word Program the company is aiming to reach maximum number of car enthusiast all across India, so that it can prepare a customer base for its upcoming compact-car Etios. The company is also aiming to expand its dealership base in India to 150 dealers by the end of this year, to enhance the market reach, accessibility and availability of its cars in India.
