Suzuki to launch three new bikes in India

Suzuki Motor corporation, is gearing up to grow its bikes production and planning to launch three new motorcycles in India. Japanese auto maker is setting up its strong position in the Indian two-wheeler market by launching various products across the all categories. The company is currently getting more popularity in the superbikes market and there are available four superbikes line up (including with two newly launched superbikes models) Suzuki Hayabusa, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Suzuki Bandit and Intruder M1800R.

The 1000cc GSX-R1000 is the company's expensive bike in the segment which is available at Rs 12,75,000 (ex-showroom-Delhi). Another model of the company comes loaded with 999cc engine and it is also priced at Rs. 850,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). Suzuki Motorcycles presently sells bikes in all categories with the like of Suzuki GS (premium segment), Suzuki Zeus (entry-level segment) and Suzuki Access (Scooter segment). After getting good response to the all segments bikes from the two-wheeler market, the company is all set to launch its 3 new bikes in the coming 18 months.

Suzuki's entry-level bike, Zeus has phased out from the market, due to latest BS-III emission norms in India. According to some news reports the company may launch a new upgraded version of its 125cc bike. Second one would be a 100cc mass segment bike while there is no confirmation regarding that the third motorcycle yet in India. On the other hand, another leading two-wheeler players are ready to introduce their new products range including Yamaha SZ, Piaggio Vespa LX125, Honda VFR 1200F, Kawasaki Ninja 650R and Yamaha YZF R125.
