"Light weight becomes very important for electric vehicles. If the load more, would need a larger battery capacity and consequently higher costs. Our goal is to create an environmentally friendly car, but have affordable and comfortable driving," said Professor Mark Lienkamp, Chairman of the Automotive Technology Department TUM.

There has been no further info if this concept car is mass produced or offered to the producers of cars in Germany.
