Two Models Hybrids in U.S. is recalled by Toyota due to sparepart problems
As reported by EGMcartec (29 / 6), Toyota recall Highlander and Lexus RX400h because there are abnormalities in the intelligent power modules (IPM) is located inside the vehicle hybrid inverter system. In electronic circuits which are found several transistors mounted less than perfect, triggering excessive heat due to the length of driving time.
"If this is allowed, some problems may arise in the cabin. In many cases, the blinking indicator lights on the cab car continued to burn and lead to insufficient functioning of safe driving mode," wrote the Toyota.
Toyota is also concerned about the possibility of permanent damage to the hybrid system that ends on a vehicle strike. The recall began in mid next month, free of charge!
