There`s not much slipstreaming going on around a Range Rover, the wind just bangs it relentlessly on the nose and the Range Rover is too arrogant to care. It wasn`t built to be a race car but this still hasn`t stopped Startech trying to make it more aerodynamic
The Exclusive STARTECH Program for the MY 2010 Facelift Generation of the Range Rover
The Range Rover continues its successful run in re-engineered form. For owners of the British SUV looking for maximum individuality STARTECH offers an extensive product portfolio for both versions.
Range Rover or Range Rover Sport: The STARTECH designers have developed sporty yet elegant aerodynamic-enhancement components for both body styles of the SUV. Both front components lend the 4x4 a more striking and dynamic face and reduce lift on the front axle at high speed. Both versions feature stylishly integrated LED daytime running lights that add considerably to the level of active safety.
The thrilling STARTECH design vocabulary continues in the rear components tailored to the specific body style. Like their counterparts in the front they perfectly combine form and function: Most Range Rover models are equipped with a trailer hitch which is covered up beautifully by the STARTECH rear apron. The apron features an integrated flap that pops in or out in one motion to give quick access to the detachable hitch. Exhaust tip moldings stylishly integrated into the lines of the rear apron are yet another striking detail. They are connected to the factory exhaust system.
STARTECH Monostar IV light-alloy wheels with a diameter of 22 inches play a large role in the striking looks of the STARTECH versions of the MY 2010 Range Rover. The five-spoke wheel design features a striking combination of charcoal-gray and polished surfaces. The size 10Jx22 wheels are mounted with high-performance tires in size 295/35 R 22 front and back.
The STARTECH team also demonstrates lots of ingenuity in the interior. An ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel, available in a variety of material and color combinations, is part of the product lineup as are exclusive accessories such as stainless-steel scuff plates with illuminated STARTECH logo, high-quality floor mats with color-coordinated leather borders, and aluminum pedals.
To complement the factory leather interior of the Range Rover STARTECH offers front and rear inside door panels in all factory leather colors. Special contrast-colored cords create an especially customized appearance.
Requests for even further personalization are fulfilled by the company upholstery shop. The shop creates complete interiors made from a number of choice materials in any color and design imaginable and will even include the headliner upon request. Also available are exclusive precious-wood trim sets. Innovative bleaching and staining techniques allow customers to choose perfectly matched or interestingly contrasted wood colors with various surface finishes.
The choices are practically endless: The lineup ranges from a simple upgrade of the factory wood trim in the form of a color-coordinated precious-wood molding for the center console to complete interior trim sets in any desired wood grain or made from genuine carbon fiber. The same variety is available for the electrically deployed STARTECH tables in the rear, which can also be upholstered with leather instead.
At the ESSEN MOTOR SHOW 2010 STARTECH presents the Range Rover with an especially exclusive yachting-design precious-wood trim package. All wood inlay elements of the production interior are replaced by trim made from dark-brown Wenge wood with beige separating layers. The result is a wood interior that looks like the kind of wood used on a high-end yacht. To create this look countless individual pieces were assembled with the watchmaker precision. All wood elements have an open-pore matte finish but are varnished in accordance with the latest automotive guidelines.
Upon customer request STARTECH can transform any Range Rover model into an exclusive office on wheels or into a rolling multimedia lounge with state-of-the-art communication technology
