Electric Cars of Chevrolet Beat is ready to be Gliding in India

NEW DELHI - Indian automotive market is re-arrival of newcomers. General Motors has just landed the electric-powered vehicles from the Chevrolet Beat in New Delhi, India. Beat Electric is part of the ongoing demonstration project that is focused to study the feasibility of electric vehicles in the metropolitan area.

Beat adopting lithium-ion battery cell liquid-cooled 300. The electric motor that carried Beat capable of spraying power to 20 kW or 60 horsepower supplied to the wheels via a single-speed transmission.

Mini battery electric car is able to carry on speeding up to a distance of 130 kilometers (81 miles) once the content. To refill it takes eight hours using a 240 volt power source voltage.

This model is an example of GM's commitment to become a leader in the development of electric vehicle technology. GM previously had announced a demonstration program in several Asian and European countries such as Korea, China and Germany.
