The Spaniard was admitted, a few seasons ago there was an offer to move to Red Bull. However, the former Renault and McLaren driver was not accepted because the main target is the Ferrari cockpit. Unfortunately, his dream to win a title with "The Prancing Horse" can not be realized because in the last two seasons they have always lost to Red Bull, which appear very dominant. Nonetheless, Alonso says never regret having rejected Red Bull. In addition, he has also signed a contract with a very long period of time.

"No, no," said 29-year-old rider, when asked if he was sorry.

"Maybe I've got three or four world titles, but I will not be happy as now or for not driving a Ferrari," said Alonso in F1 Santander website.

"I think, more important for a rider to race for Ferrari rather than just being a world champion," he added.

Alonso also spoke about the lack of harmonious relationship with the British driver, Lewis Hamilton, when they were together at McLaren. According to him, all the old stories are gone, and he would be happy if one day be together again with the 2008 world champion.

"I have no problem with Hamilton, as well as when we were one at McLaren. I have great respect for him. As long as it was not in McLaren, is a team with Hamilton will be fine," he said.

Alonso also said that he would work with Sebastian Vettel. "I have no problem with anyone if it were on a team," he said.
